Court Representation
We have many years experience representing people in District Circuit, Circuit Court and Higher Court proceedings. Most cases in District Court arise from the issuing of a summons. We will meet each person before a Court date and advise on the charges being brought against you. If you wish to accept the charge we will put forward your mitigating circumstances with a view to reducing the possible penalty that can be applied by the Judge. If you wish to contest the charges we will represent you at the Court and defend your case based on your instructions.
A conviction for a Criminal or Road Traffic offence in the District Court can be appealed to Circuit Court. Time is often of the essence to stop the penalty coming into force. If you are unhappy with the decision of the judge in the District Court it is important to get in contact with us as early as possible to begin the appeal process.
